Student life
HHSP Program Assistant work with the Office of Student Life. First-generation student. Campus work that asks me to show up, make the room more navigable, and help someone else keep their agency in it.

A first-generation path is not a brand story with the hard parts removed. It is rooms, people, setup, questions, and the small work that helps someone else see a way through.
Program Assistant
I'm a first-generation student. As a Program Assistant for HHSP I help at campus events and with the quieter setup that makes those hours run ... chairs, check-in, the odd job nobody put on a flyer. Those details are not background; they decide whether a room feels possible to enter.

Scholarship
- I led a session at the IU 2025 Leadership Conference on 8 February 2025. Here is Mimi Attenoukon's IU page.
- I tutored Luddy I204 lightly when classmates needed a second pass at the material.
- When the Kelley calendar lined up, I sat in on lunch-and-learns about grad school and Women in Business.
Uplift
- I was a FaSE mentee for a year. Regular check-ins helped with career, clubs, and social life.
- I stuffed Finals Survival Kits and wrote encouraging notes for newer students.
- I joined Chopping It Up once ... a short conversation that felt useful without a big agenda.
Community
- In November and December 2024 I helped at bingo, trivia, and a holiday PJ party ... setup and tear-down, calling bingo numbers, grading trivia sheets.
- I checked people in at a study abroad fair on 11 November 2024.
- Serve IT since January 2024, including clinic work for partners who need a site they can keep. The pages. Role bullets on Volunteering.
- Middle Way House, fall 2024. WordPress redesign with Serve IT ... about 84 volunteer hours.
- Girls Who Code: front-end and digital literacy instructor for 50+ students. Details on Volunteering.
Creativity
- I went on a Music of the Silk Road museum tour ... music, objects, and a quieter afternoon than a typical campus day.
- I made a FaSE vision board when the programme offered the workshop.
- Expressions of Wellness was a small pause in a busy term.
Engagement
- I studied on the IU Madrid English track at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) from 12 January to 29 May 2026.
- I sat with the HHSP table at the 55th Neal-Marshall gala on 19 October 2024.
- I helped at HHSP and Asian Culture Center (ACC) open houses, stopped by La Casa's fair, and represented FaSE carefully at CultureFest.
Development
- Luddy Career Fair, 19 September 2024. I met employers and an MSIS (Master of Science in Information Systems) recruiter.
- Two Serve IT x Deloitte talks, in October and November 2024, on consulting and how alumni got there.
- I took part in an LCA x MSIS case competition in December 2024.
